DJ Lil Vegas

All of us as DJs in Cool Receptions, we started out with a love of music from our families. But, we only started djing in our teenage years. DJ Lil Vegas has been around the art of DJing his entire life. Lil Vegas’s father, DJ Vegas Al, showed him the ropes from the age of 5 years old.

Lil Vegas is what we called a “Child Prodigy of DJing”. Vegas has been rocking crowds since the age of 10 years old. Being that early into the artform, there was no laptop for a DJ to stare at, only vinyl.

This gives the DJ a real craftsmanship by being able to watch and interact with the crowd instead of staring at the computer screen.

At the age of only 23, he is the youngest DJ on 102 Jamz in Greensboro, NC. One of the biggest radio stations in nation. He also has a awesome following from listeners young and old. With over 10K+ followers on Instagram, it’s safe to say he’s not new to this.

Cool Receptions takes great dignity in being able to balance technology of DJing and still keeping our roots of being able to use turntables and “Wow” the crowds we rock. DJ Lil Vegas is the epitome of just that.
